I was inspired to start modding in the first place by MXR, granted with hopes that one of my mods gets featured by him on his mod review channel and I learned how to mod via NukaMage's video Fallout 4 Creation Kit Basics. Ultimately, I do hope that Jon looks into using this mod for a potential YOLO series for Fallout 4 playing on Survival Mode. This mod fulfills the requirement for no healing even if someone is playing on Survival Mode. When the counter runs out, the player must kill themselves and the playthrough is terminated.
I was inspired to make this mod by the "You Only Live Once" (YOLO) Fallout playing ruleset created by Youtuber Jon of channel Many A True Nerd, which stipulates that for a playthrough of a game, the player is not allowed to take any healing items and live off of a true health counter. Any suggestions/modifications to the current parameters of the mod are definitely appreciated as I am entirely a noob. This mod is intended to be used under Survival Mode. I do intend to create separate versions for each DLC and a complete edition for all DLC plus the vanilla game. It certainly is not much.Įssentially, this mod removes hitpoint bonuses from all food items and bloodpacks (both regular and glowing) from vanilla Fallout 4.
